Rio Marina

Oggi Rio Marina è una località balneare attrezzata per le esigenze del turismo. Il suo Comune si è costituito nel 1882, distaccandosi da Rio nell'Elba di cui, ovviamente, ne condivide la storia.
Dal porto sono attivi i collegamenti con la terraferma in alternativa a Portoferraio.

Heute ist Rio Marina ein Badeort der allen Bedürfnissen des Touristen gerecht wird. Die Gmeinde wurde 1882 gegründet, nachdem sie sich von Rio Elba trennte wobei die beiden Orte natürlich die gemeinsame Geschichte teilen.
Vom Hafen aus gibt es Fährverbindungen zum Festland, eine Alternative zu Portoferraio.

from Rio Elba of which, obviously,  shares the common history.
From the port the connections with the mainland in alternative to Portoferraio are active.
